Pre-Production Inspection Process

With this in mind, their first task is always to enter the production area while referring to the Personnel access D Clean Area Standard Operating Procedure. After that, they must also open the LD 016 Ingredient Room to vent air out for the purpose of maintaining relative negative pressure with the D Clean Area corridor.

In the course of the inspection, the operator must ensure that there are no remnants of the previous batch of production. They must also make sure that Gelatin melting tank 1, and Gelatin melting tank 2 are clean. The operator also needs to make sure that the gelatin service tanks are completely clean, and that the clean site certificate is valid. Along with this, they must make sure that all the connecting pipes are well sealed, and all valves are normal. Furthermore, all the electric, and measuring instruments should be accurate, and operating normally.

While in the capsule pressing room, the weighed raw fish oil ingredient has to undergo further mixing with vitamin A nutrients. During this mixing process, it is combined with the vitamin A according to the following material balance formula:

Site Cleaning Procedure

In addition to that, the hopper also requires cleaning through the Gelatin tank and Material Tank Cleaning Standard Operating procedure. Furthermore, the containers require cleaning according to the Class D Clean Area Containers Cleaning Standard Operating Procedure. These intensive cleaning processes are necessary to make sure that there are no remnants from the previous production process that could pollute the new cycle. Finally, the Quality Assurance (QA) personnel must check the equipment after cleaning, and award it a Clearance Certificate. Make sure your machine operator, and other associated members of staff know that this certificate is strictly valid for 48 hours!
